Good luck in your Labor Day drafts!
Rankings and tiers fully updated after a weekend of drafting
I’ve finished up a rankings sweep after testing them in three main event drafts this weekend, which helped me clean up some things. I moved up a few wide receivers I’m a bit down on to reflect where I think they start to make sense as upside plays. I shuffled a few backup RBs, moving down guys like Darrynton Evans as an IR stash, and moving up guys like Alex Collins, who now makes some sense in the later rounds of deeper leagues. Evans, by the way, also makes some sense still. The new IR rules keep him out for only three weeks, and he was never a guy you were drafting to play right away. We don’t wish injuries on anyone, but Evans would be a clear waiver target, even while on IR, if Derrick Henry were to suffer an early-season injury. That said, he’s clearly someone you’re taking much later at this point and perhaps not at all as a watch list option.
I moved Joe Burrow down a touch because he’s really started to fall a bit in a way that makes it easier to try to wait on him a bit and grab him as maybe a second middle-round upside QB option. I’ve been trying to pair him with one of the high-upside rookies where possible, and am still very high on the second-year passer.
One guy I barely had to move was Saquon Barkley, who has been in my top-five backs throughout. We got news this morning Barkley looks likely to be close to a full go in Week 1, which always seemed to be the most likely outcome. There are still offensive concerns that could give you pause, but the discount on Barkley has been really nice for a back of his ability and past fantasy production, when healthy.

Good luck in your drafts today!
@Ben or anyone else in this community, thinking through starting line up for my flex spot in half PPR
Terry McLaurin or DJ Moore
Do you take that Sam Darnold revenge game, plus a better matchup vs the CB1 of the Jets (Isiah Dunn).
Or
Just hope that Scarry Terry is as good as we think he can be with Fitzpatrick? He's got a thought matchup vs the CB1 of the Chargers (Michael Davis) and that defense is just a better overall unit.
All thoughts, ideas, and feedback appreciated!
Thanks for the rankings update Ben! I caught up on a week's worth of content today. Good stuff. Since you mentioned you read comments on most recent articles...
I'd be up for a premium discord product. Also, happy to help you set things up if helpful.
Unrelated, I'm the former COO of Bleacher Report. Once you come up for air after week one, I would be down to talk shop if you're up for it.
Either way, good luck with the season!
