I fired off that long Christian McCaffrey post yesterday, which was an absolute blast to write. It contained some clear input volatility implications, from a potentially active McCaffrey on the inputs for the San Francisco offense, to the even clearer implications on Carolina’s offense not having McCaffrey in there.
I wrote about both a bit yesterday, though more heavily on the San Francisco side. I have some more thoughts on Carolina below, as well as a few other intriguing Week 7 spots.
Ravens RBs
Kenyan Drake had a big week in Week 6, while Justice Hill had carved out a nice role for himself ahead of Drake prior to his earlier injury. There are multiple ways this could play out, but my guess would be the Ravens ride the hot had a little bit and bring Hill back slowly. With J.K. Dobbins now out for 4-6 weeks, they are back to looking for answers at RB, and since the start of last year, that’s often meant a committee of sorts. I do expect both to play a decent amount, but what the split looks like is tough to say.
One thing that seems fairly comfortable to project is Baltimore is more likely to throw when they are thinner at RB, and less confident in their guys there.
