Good perspective on beats! How do you think about interpreting coach’s thoughts - ie McVay telling us all last night that Kyren will be the teams punt returner
Love it Ben. Quick 2v2. HALF PPR. REDRAFT. 10 TEAM. You only need to start 1 RB (qb,RB,WR,TE,5 Flex). Given your updated ranks, are you starting with Breece/London combo or a Lamb/Achane duo?
when i got the chance to pick my draft slot in my longest-running home league, i went with 1.04, because i suspect the RBs go 1-3. i'm going to shoot for lamb/achane. that said, with it being half PPR and 5 flex, i kind of prefer the RB in round 1 here.
You’ve mentioned before your reticence to drafting heavily into guys with August injuries, I’m curious if you’re getting at all spooked by whatever is going on with Waddle?
That’s fine, and I’ll have exposure to both, but both being right in a way where one wasn’t more right than the other is in some ways the least likely outcome.
Sorry just being flippant while my last slow draft winds down before the season.
I have exposure to both in BB and didn't end up with either in redraft. I respect your Bijan take, but if given the opportunity, I'd have drafted Breece in redraft because "I like that guy go fast" is about all I need to know.
On the beats, I think you're just saying that reporters have components of signal (player performance takes) and noise (offensive scheme and estimates of usage).
It's like when my buddy is telling me about this girl he's dating. He's telling me that she's hot and has a great personality. I believe one of those assessments more than the other.
No worries! I should have communicated this better but I used this as a launching point for a broader note I guess I’d wanted to make, but mostly because it *was* such a thoughtful and considerate question. Wasn’t trying to suggest otherwise!

hit this in today's post!

I'm absolutely not Ben but I am going CD/Achane and not looking back in that scenario

gonna hit this in a mailbag
When Bijan/Breece both go on to have legendary seasons, I'm going to congratulate myself that I didn't take a strong stand one way or the other.

Trust the analysis, just wanting to be more thoughtful and prepared myself! Appreciate all the work you bring to the table and place huge value on it!
