Enjoy your time with your friends. Anyone who reads your stuff has plenty of context to make adjustments this weekend. There’s a lot of nfl season left, recharge your battery.
Hunter Henry also a great way to set up a late Drake Maye, he's cheap and I always love the QB-TE pairing since both positions are very TD-dependent. You can often double-tap him and Douglas at the 13/14 turn.
Hey Ben hope you enjoy your time with friends so no rush getting back to me. I did want to get your thoughts on the justin jefferson pick in the first round. I have pick 8 and think that he would fall to me (assuming top 3 RBs and lamb, hill, chase, st brown are gone) because people are scared of the QB play. On one hand, its Justin Jefferson in a KOC system and I feel like its a no brainer. But we've also seen elite WR talents struggle to pay off their prices with poor QB play (Jamarr Chase, Davante Adams, DJ moore for years, etc). Garrett Wilson would be the other person in consideration for me but I will likely have my exposure to him across my other leagues. Are you still in on Justin Jefferson at the price or how does the McCarthy injury impact your projection on him?
First time sub here. Came over from rotoviz and love the content. Hope you have a great weekend with your friends. I’ve never been to the Northwest, but got my dog Griffey from a breeder there a few years ago and they mentioned the San Juan Islands as a favorite vacation spot.
When it comes to Brissett do you think the explosion in qb contracts is a reason he’s bounced around? Tough for some teams to justify 5-8 million on a back up when the starter g to be close to 50 million.
Yeah, it’s not purely skill with Brissett. That kind of thing is definitely circumstantial to some degree. I just find it pretty interesting no team has made it a priority to keep him around since the Colts, and even during his time there — he was the main starter for two seasons, and both times they went a different direction the next offseason.
Loved watching Griffey growing up easily my favorite player of all time.
Brissett reminds me a lot of a “AAAA” player in baseball. There’s some skill there but not enough to be a viable option as a starter long term and a little too much to be a low cost backup. Similar to chase Daniels early career

Its insanely hard to find your rankings on the substack.
Sorry about that. I'll try to send out the link more regularly.
Thank you!

My bro’s dog is named Griffey!
