I always kind of instinctively knew that there is volatility in rostering an RB on a team with a mobile QB but it's cool to have it explained as you have. I think the stolen high value touches probably hurt the most. Saquon did his 2022 thing again this past week and waited until late to get his points up but I was still greedy and got angry when Jones snuck in that last TD. I mean you have 'Mr. try and stop me from leaping over everyone' right there behind you, come on!
I also have to wonder if the 1As this year like Chubb and Jones look a whole lot more stable and safe simply because the 1Bs are being much more under utilized. Hunt and Dillon have not produced anywhere near pre-season projections otherwise we'd probably be talking about how those 1As are the opposite. I could be wrong but it seems more driven by coaching in those situations than by lack of efficiency.
Lastly, has John Harbaugh ever told the truth about a back's projected usage on a given week? I don't know anyone that rostered Gus this past week because on John's lies, lol.
