Ben this is dope thank you! Do you have dynasty rankings that you use for trades & rookie drafting too?

i usually tell people to consult rotoviz's rankings, and specifically my stealing bananas cohost shawn siegele's rankings over at rotoviz. they have a cool tiering system in their dynasty ranks that relates every player's value back to rookie picks (e.g. 2 first-round picks, or 1 second-round plus 1 third-round pick, stuff like that) which helps tally up the total value in trades and get an idea if it's close. of course, sometimes i disagree with a player valuation and think that player should be a tier or two higher or lower, and then i can just adjust as i see fit (e.g. "if i think of that player as a tier 4 guy rather than a tier 5 guy, this does get a lot closer"). shawn does have some valuations that differ substantially from something like startup ADP (he's going to be higher on younger guys and lower on some aging players, typically), so i would recommend consulting ADP too because you'd rather pay market prices than his prices when he's, say, particularly high on a player (and if you're selling a player, you want to get all you can). one other specific way those ranks help me is to consider counters, and when it makes sense to be asking for a little bit more and how to do that.

i'm a little late here, just seeing if you or anyone has thoughts on top options that were cut a few months ago - metchie, j ross, tua, love, d harris, obj, and shakir come to mind and are available in my ffpc dynasty rookie draft. i guess i'm asking if any of these (or comparable) players would crack the tier 3 list.

hey, sorry i'm a little late on this. for the most part those guys would not crack that list for me. damien harris might under certain roster circumstances, and the QBs definitely if it's superflex, but i'm assuming it's not. even if it's single QB, i could see tua being a target in that tier 3b range.
