People need to manage their own fantasy teams. We pay for analysis from you Ben, or others, and then it should be up to us after that. It’s no different than hiring a lawyer because they aren’t perfect. You pay for their advice and then make a business decision based on risk reward. Ben, you should be shy about telling people to make their own decisions. You were quite nice about it in this post, but you won’t lose this sub if you take a more direct approach. Good luck this season everyone and bet on yourself (always)!

Like every first grader learns, "you're responsible for your own actions."

As FFB players, it seems many want to get intellectual/mental "permission" to make a pick or a trade etc. Weird to me.

It's also weird to me that someone would patronize Gretch --who puts his philosophy, process and instinct in front of us with ultimate transparency-- and seemingly just want to buy a draft list.

I'm going to draft Kyle Pitts and live with the damned results (for the third season in a row).

I don't interpret any of the quoted questions as trying to get Ben to manage their fantasy teams. Mine certainly wasn't, as I haven't even drafted Saquon this year!

I appreciate this post because I've definitely been over-achieving in terms of flunking! However, having an understanding of the underlying rationale is really helpful and the reason I became a subscriber.

Yahoo 10 team 0.5ppr 1QB 2WR 2RB 1TE 2Flex 3IDP 6 Bench

QB Jayden Daniels

RBs Bijan, Javonte, Corum, Bucky Irving, Jaylen Wright, Jonathan Brooks (to IR)

WRs London, Nico, Waddle, X Worthy, McConkey, Jameson Williams

TE Kincaid

Yahoo gave me a D+ for this, projects me to finish last. TBH, the two times Yahoo gave me an A+ I finished near the bottom...Every time I've won, I have no better than a C.

Sleeper 10 team 0.5ppr (TEs 1.5ppr) SuperFlex auction 1QB 2RB 3WR 1Rec Flex 1Flex 1SuperFlex 1DEF 6Bench

QBs Richardson, C Williams, Young

RBs Breece, Ken Walker, Javonte, Jaylen Warren, Chase Brown,

WRs Tyreek, CeeDee, JSN, Jeudy, Wicks

TEs Pitts, Luke Musgrave

No grades on Sleeper...But I don't care about my grades, I think I crushed both!

That first team getting a D+ is as good a reason as any to ignore Yahoo draft grade, that team looks great!

Work League

1QB / 2RB / 2WR / 1TE / 2FLEX / DST / IR / 6 bench - PPR

Kyler, Breece, Javonte, Nico, Kupp, Pitts, Deebo, Rashee, Mostert, Chase Brown, Brian Thomas Jr., J.K. Dobbins, Romeo Doubs, Blake Corum, 49ers DST.

ESPN graded me a D!

The only pick I didn't love in this draft was Dobbins. That should have been Bucky or Jaylen Wright.

> I’m writing this we got confirmation Clyde Edwards-Helaire is going to miss at least four games as he continues to battle PTSD (we’re all supporting him there), which locks Perine into a real role early on.

Any reason you're projecting that workload onto Perine, who was just signed, instead of Steele who flashed in camp?

I got an F in mine yesterday and love it when yahoo is down on my teams. It’s a 14 team keeper league an a ton of tight ends were kept so I couldn’t go elite TE and had to settle for late value so I’m weak there. I ended up with

Trevor Lawrence, Geno

Javonte, Moss, Corum, Irving, Braelon Allen, Chubb

Garret Wilson, Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Palmer, C Watson, Wicks

Another good illustration of how terrible the draft grades are lol, for a 14-team draft this is very solid.

I love my rb depth and just need one of those rookie RBs to make some noise and I should be solid. I’m weak at tight end but since it’s a keeper league all of the top guys are kept or go way too early… some guy in my league got an A and his #1 receiver is odunze lol all because he drafted best available at rb k def lol
